Delhi Capitals captain Jemimah Rodrigues has been fined Rs. 12 lakh for sustaining a gradual over-rate throughout the Ladies’s Premier League (WPL) conflict towards Gujarat Giants on the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Tuesday.

The three-time runners-up misplaced the sport by three runs to slide to the fourth spot within the factors desk.

“Jemimah Rodrigues, Captain of Delhi Capitals has been fined after her group maintained a gradual over charge throughout their group’s match towards Gujarat Giants on the BCA Stadium, Vadodara on Tuesday,” WPL stated in an announcement.

“Because it was her first offence of the season beneath the WPL’s Code of Conduct regarding minimal over charge offences, Jemimah was fined INR 12 lakh,” it added.

With six factors and a Web Run Charge of -0.164, the Capitals are locked in a battle for a top-three end for the WPL playoffs.

It’ll tackle the bottom-placed UP Warriorz in its matchlast group-stage recreation on February 1.
