PSL 2025 postponed amid rising India-Pakistan tensions

The 2025 season of the Pakistan Tremendous League (PSL) was postponed on Friday amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan.

Earlier within the day, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had determined to shift the remaining matches of the match to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In an announcement, the PCB had mentioned that the final eight fixtures of the competitors, which have been beforehand scheduled in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore, could be staged within the UAE.

On Thursday, the match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi had been suspended, and no PSL match has been held since Wednesday.

Earlier on Friday, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 was suspended for every week because of the ongoing state of affairs. On Thursday, the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala was known as off on account of a technical failure.
