Opener Ben Dawkins and one down Ben Mayes hit fifties to assist England Below-19 beat India Below-19 within the fifth and closing Youth ODI at New Highway in Worcester on Monday. India although received the sequence 3-2.

Chasing 211, Dawkins (66) and Mayes (82 not out) performed with freedom whereas Thomas Rew hit an unbeaten 37-ball 49 to complete the match with seven wickets in hand and over 18 overs left.

For India, Naman Pushpak and Deepesh Devendran have been amongst the wickets, however England by no means let the chase go uncontrolled and completed it in 31.1 overs

Opting to bat, India misplaced captain Ayush Mhatre for one whereas Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who scored a 52-ball century within the earlier outing, managed 33 off 42 balls. RS Ambrish high scored with an unbeaten 66.
