Liverpool have agreed to signal Freddie Woodman after the goalkeeper left Preston North Finish as a free agent.
Woodman made 37 appearances for Preston as they completed twentieth within the Championship final season, narrowly avoiding relegation by a single level.
That was his third marketing campaign with Preston, having joined them from Newcastle United in 2022 following mortgage spells with Hartlepool United, Crawley City, Kilmarnock, Aberdeen and Swansea Metropolis.
He saved 12 clear sheets in these 37 video games in 2024-25, with solely 9 Championship goalkeepers recording extra shutouts.
On Friday, Liverpool introduced Woodman had agreed to hitch the membership and would hyperlink up for pre-season coaching with Arne Slot’s squad subsequent month.
Woodman will function backup to Alisson and Giorgi Mamardashvili, who will arrive from Valencia on July 1.
The Premier League champions bought Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford earlier this month.
