Left-arm seamer Barinder Sran, who performed six ODIs and two T20Is for India in 2016, introduced his retirement from all types of cricket on Thursday.
The 31-year-old Sran introduced his choice on social media, saying the time was ‘proper’ for him to stroll into the sundown.
“As I formally hold up my cricket boots, I look again at my journey with a coronary heart stuffed with gratitude. Since switching from boxing in 2009, cricket has gifted me innumerable and unbelievable experiences,” he wrote on an Instagram publish.
Sran made his debut towards Australia at Perth in 2015-16 and performed his two T20Is for India on the tour of Zimbabwe later in mid 2016.
He took seven wickets in his six ODIs whereas a few T20I outings yielded six wickets.
