Murray, chatting with reporters after being knocked out of the Dubai draw by Ugo Humbert, 6-2, 6-4, says he’s bored with speaking about his pending retirement.

“I’m seemingly not gonna play previous the summer season,” 67th-ranked Murray stated, which makes it sound like Wimbledon might be his last stopping place, or probably the US Open.

Murray, who turns 37 on Could 15, has struggled to win matches this season. He dropped to 2-6 on the season, and has gained two of ten general.

Final month Murray took offense to an article by the BBC that puzzled if Murray is perhaps tarnishing his legacy by prolonging his profession.

“I get requested about it after each single match that I play, each single match that I play, and I’m bored of the query, to be trustworthy,” Murray continued. “I’m not gonna speak extra about that between now and at any time when the time comes for me to cease, however yeah, I don’t plan on taking part in a lot previous the summer season.”
