The ATP regrets to substantiate the cancellation of the 2023 Tel Aviv Watergen Open (scheduled 5-11 November) as a consequence of safety considerations following the outbreak of struggle within the area.
“The violence and acts of terror witnessed in Israel are past comprehension. We strongly condemn any type of terrorism and mourn the lack of harmless lives throughout this battle. We hope and pray for peace within the area,” stated Andrea Gaudenzi, ATP Chairman.
The choice to cancel the ATP 250-level match was taken in shut session with safety specialists, with the security of gamers, employees and followers as a precedence.
