Hindustan College wins KCG Verghese Basketball Memorial match

Hindustan Institute of Know-how and Science (Group A) received the lads’s title, whereas KPR, Coimbatore, clinched the ladies’s crown within the thirty fifth Dr Okay C G Verghese Memorial Inter-College Basketball Match held in Chennai.

The Directorate of Sports activities at Hindustan Institute of Know-how and Science performed the match for women and men on the Air Jordan Basketball Advanced, Bay Vary Campus. Held in reminiscence of the establishment’s founder chairman Dr Okay C G Verghese, the three-day occasion featured 20 groups, 12 within the males’s part and eight within the girls’s part.

Within the males’s competitors, St Joseph Bangalore Metropolis College completed runner-up, whereas SRM College secured third place. Hindustan Institute of Know-how and Science (Group B) completed fourth.

Within the girls’s part, Vels College completed runner-up, with College of Madras taking third place. Hindustan College completed fourth.
