Inderjit Singh Bindra, popularly referred to as I.S. Bindra, a former president of the Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI), handed away in New Delhi on Sunday.

Bindra served as BCCI president from 1993 to 1996 and was additionally the president of the Punjab Cricket Affiliation (PCA) from 1978 to 2014. In 2015, in tribute to his providers as an administrator, the PCA Stadium in Mohali was renamed the I.S. Bindra Stadium.
