Eire, on Friday, introduced a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, set to be collectively hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
Lead batter Paul Stirling has been named the captain whereas Lorcan Tucker might be his deputy.
On the World Cup, Eire is positioned in Group B, alongside Sri Lanka, Australia, Oman and Zimbabwe. Eire will start its marketing campaign on February 8, when it takes on Sri Lanka in Colombo.
This might be Eire’s ninth look on the T20 World Cup. Its finest efficiency got here in 2009 and 2022, when it certified to the second spherical.
