Teenage left-arm quick bowler Kwena Maphaka has been dominated out of South Africa’s one-off Twenty20 Worldwide in opposition to Namibia in Windhoek on Saturday and its total white-ball tour to Pakistan after being sidelined with a hamstring pressure.
The 19-year-old has been changed within the squad to face Namibia and the T20 sequence in opposition to Pakistan by seamer Ottneil Baartman. Lizaad Williams is his substitute for the One-Day Internationals on the subcontinent.
Maphaka was injured in a home four-day fixture final week and subsequent medical assessments indicated a Grade 1-2 harm which would require rehabilitation over the following 4 weeks.
South Africa performs three T20s in Pakistan between October 28-November 1, and three ODIs from November 4-8.
