The Ryder Cup opening ceremony will happen a day earlier on Wednesday resulting from a forecast of inclement climate, organisers on the Bethpage Black Course instructed reporters on Tuesday.
The opening ceremony will start at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday on the Farmingdale, New York, course, whereas U.S. and European captains Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald will announce pairings for the primary day of competitors as scheduled, a day later.

Rain was forecast to pour down on the Lengthy Island venue for the subsequent few days, together with on Friday, when the three-day match play competitors is ready to start with U.S. President Donald Trump in attendance.
Organisers stated that common admission tickets could be honoured for each Wednesday and Thursday.
