Brendan Taylor returns to Zimbabwe ODI squad forward of Sri Lanka collection

Zimbabwe has introduced that Brendan Taylor will make his return to the ODI squad in its upcoming collection in opposition to Sri Lanka.

Taylor, who made his return to the Check facet earlier this month in opposition to New Zealand, was banned in 2022 after admitting to having acquired $15,000 from an Indian businessman in 2019.

He final represented Zimbabwe within the 50-over format in opposition to Eire in 2021.

The longer white-ball format is by far Taylor’s most profitable format. He has 6684 runs at a mean of 35.55, together with 11 centuries and a high-score of 145.

There are 4 different new faces from Zimbabwe’s final ODI project in opposition to Eire in February. Clive Madande, Tony Munyonga, Brad Evans and uncapped seamer Ernest Masuku all enter the squad.
