Justice (retd.) Arun Mishra, the BCCI ombudsman, has directed the Karnataka State Cricket Affiliation (KSCA) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to file written replies on the grievance of gross negligence throughout the victory celebration stampede in Bengaluru on June 4, which led to the loss of life of 11 folks.
The ombudsman’s directives got here after senior IPS officer Vikas Kumar filed a grievance to the BCCI. Each KSCA and RCB must submit their replies inside 4 weeks.
Earlier, the Board constituted a committee to formulate complete pointers for victory celebrations. The committee consists of Devajit Saikia (Chairperson), Prabhtej Singh Bhatia and Rajeev Shukla.
“In mild of the incident that occurred throughout the victory celebrations in Bengaluru, the Apex Council has determined to represent a committee to formulate complete pointers aimed toward stopping such occurrences sooner or later,” the BCCI had acknowledged earlier.
