West Indies girls announce squad for upcoming England Tour

Cricket West Indies on Tuesday introduced a 15-member squad for the upcoming girls’s white-ball tour of England scheduled from Might 21 to June 8. The tour consists of three T20 Internationals and as many One-Day Internationals to be performed at a number of venues throughout the nation.

The squad will probably be led by captain Hayley Matthews and features a robust mixture of skilled gamers and rising expertise.

There are two adjustments to the squad which contested final month’s World Cup Qualifiers in Pakistan, with 20-year-old Guyanese all-rounder Realeanna Grimmond and Kittitian quick bowler Jahzara Claxton changing wicketkeeper/batter Rashada Williams and all-rounder Chinelle Henry, respectively.

The West Indies Girls will depart for England on Might 13, with the primary T20I scheduled for Might 21.

1st T20I – Wednesday, 21 Might – The Spitfire Floor, Canterbury

2nd T20I – Friday, 23 Might – The first Central County Floor, Hove

third T20I – Monday, 26 Might – Ambassador Cruise Line Floor, Chelmsford

ODI Sequence

1st ODI – Friday, 30 Might – County Floor, Derby

2nd ODI – Wednesday, 4 June – Uptonsteel County Floor, Leicester

third ODI – Saturday, 7 June – The Cooper Associates County Floor, Taunton
