Tamil Nadu’s Shahrukh Khan has been entrusted with the captain’s armband for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali event. The batter, who has been a profitable skipper within the Tamil Nadu Premier League through the years, says it’s an honour to guide the State aspect.
“It’s my first time as a captain for Tamil Nadu. I’ve led within the TNPL for a number of years, and now (I’m main) Tamil Nadu — it’s a new factor for me. Clearly, captaining a State group is a privilege,” Shahrukh advised Sportstar minutes after TN’s innings win over Railways in a Ranji Trophy match on the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday.

Shahrukh added that he was taking the problem one step at a time because the home red-ball season makes approach for white-ball fixtures until late January.
“I haven’t thought of something as a result of the event begins in per week (November 23). So, I’ll begin considering tonight or tomorrow about what to do. I don’t work that approach by giving something an excessive amount of thought. I feel on the proper place and on the proper time and that’s rather more essential,” Shahrukh added.
