Iga Swiatek has pressed pause on her return to event tennis.
The defending Beijing champion has withdrawn from the China Open as a result of “private issues.”

The China Open is ready for September 25-October 6.
American Jessica Pegula knocked Swiatek out of the US Open quarterfinals 6-2, 6-4 earlier this month.
