Former world primary Novak Djokovic teamed up with doubles associate Hamad Medjedovic on Sunday to seal a 3-0 play-off win over Greece which retains Serbia in World Group I of the Davis Cup.
The 37-year-old, taking part in his first aggressive tennis since shedding within the third spherical of the US Open 2024, and his 21-year-old team-mate received 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 towards Aristotelis Thanos and Petros Tsitsipas, the youthful brother of Stefanos, who needed to withdraw.
On Saturday, Miomir Kecmanovic had given Serbia its first level by beating Thanos 6-3, 6-3 earlier than Djokovic blew away Ioannis Xilas, ranked 770 on the planet, 6-0, 6-1 in simply 45 minutes.

Djokovic stated on Saturday that it “will be the final time” he performs in entrance of a Belgrade Davis Cup viewers due to a change in format.
