Buchi Babu Memorial Event to get underway on August 15

The Tamil Nadu Cricket Affiliation will conduct the Take Sports activities-All India Buchi Babu Invitational match from August 15 to September 11 at Natham (Dindigul), Salem, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli.

Twelve groups, together with the TNCA President’s XI and TNCA XI, will take part within the match. The groups are drawn into 4 teams of three, with the toppers qualifying for the semifinals.

Tirunelveli will host the primary semifinal, whereas Natham will host the opposite semifinal and the summit conflict.

The matches shall be performed in a four-day format, making it a helpful preparation for the Ranji Trophy. The winner will take residence Rs 3 Lakhs, and the runner-up Rs 2 lakhs. Madhya Pradesh is the defending champion, beating Delhi within the remaining final 12 months.

The match shall be comprised of 10 state-based sides — Madhya Pradesh (defending champion), Jharkhand, Railways, Gujarat, Mumbai, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Chattisgarh, Hyderabad and Baroda — apart from two native groups — TNCA President’s XI and TNCA XI.

The match was once a season opener in Indian home cricket and all Check stars would flip up initially of the season.

Spherical 2 (Aug 21-24): Jharkhand vs Hyderabad, Railways vs TNCA President’s XI, Haryana vs TNCA XI, Jammu & Kashmir vs BAR

Spherical 3 (Aug 27-30): Madhya Pradesh vs Hyderabad, Gujarat vs TNCA President’s XI, Mumbai vs TNCA XI, Baroda vs Chattisgarh.

Semi-finals (Sep 2-5): Winner Group A vs Winner Group B, Winner Group C vs Winner Floor D

Ultimate (Sep 8-11).
