Omkar Salvi to proceed as Mumbai head coach, Sanjay Patil named chairman of selectors

Omkar Salvi was on Friday retained as the pinnacle coach of the Ranji Trophy-winning Mumbai workforce, whereas Sanjay Patil was named the chairman of selectors instead of Raju Kulkarni, who will now head Mumbai Cricket Affiliation’s Cricket Enchancment Committee (CIC).

The MCA in an announcement for the 2024-25 season mentioned that Patil, a former Mumbai cricketer who performed 33 First-Class matches from 1989-90 to 1993-94, will head the senior males’s and U-23 choice committee with different members being Ravi Thaker, Jeetendra Thackrey, Kiran Powar and Vikrant Yeligati.

Former Mumbai and Baroda participant Rajesh Pawar, who was additionally part of previously Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians within the Indian Premier League (IPL), would be the head coach for Mumbai’s males’s U-23 workforce.

Dinesh Lad was named the pinnacle coach of the lads’s U-19 workforce whereas Deepak Jadhav was named the chairman of selectors, with Mandar Phadke, Umesh Gotkhindkar, Bhavin Thakkar and Piyush Soneji being the opposite members.

For Mumbai’s senior ladies’s aspect, Sunetra Paranjape was named the pinnacle coach and Ajay Kadam was given the identical position with the ladies’s U-23 workforce.

Laya Francis was named the chairperson of the ladies’s senior and U-23 groups with different members being Seema Pujare, Shraddha Chavan, Sheetal Sakru and Kalpana Cardoso.

Sarvesh Damle was named the ladies’s U-19 workforce head coach with Sunita Singh because the chairperson of selectors. Aparna Chavan, Sangeeta Kamat, Veena Paralkar and Kalpana Murkar are the opposite choice committee members.
